Hey guys! Ever since I updated to Windows 10 I've been having this weird stuttering in old games like Sonic Adventure DX or Sonic Heroes, the framerate is stable but it stutters a lot in random spots, whilst I used to play just fine on Windows 7. Is anybody experiencing the same? Any fixes?
Some new games that run in borderless fulscreen also have this problem!

Yeah, I've had this issue for more than one year now, and I even changed my graphic card in the mean time, going from an HD 7770 to a GTX 970

Try to execute the game's .exe in windows compatibility mode.

From the steam library right-click on a game\property\local file tab\ explore local file\

Here find the .exe of the game

right-click\property\compatibility tab\check "execute program in compatibily mode"

From here select windows versions and see if something change.

Not sure if it works with that stuff but give it a try. I manage to solve a ctd problem with Darkest Hour this way

Done that, it doesn't fix anything, I guess it has something to do with the Triple Buffering forced by the OS in windowed mode

You could try disabling desktop composition by running the applications with XP compatibility mode. Desktop composition causes input lag and stuttering sometimes. http://www.sawstudiouser.com/forums/showthread.php?18033-Desktop-Composition-Win-10-Tweaks
