Will be Guild Wars 2 region locked ?

I'd like to preorder GW2 from US but I'm not sure if this would be possible...

Anyone have a clue about this ?

If it's off their official site and they announce it down the line you should be able to choose anyway. But I highly doubt it

This is the only thing I could find about Region Lock It appears to be region locked to a point but it does sound like NA and EU players will be able to play together day 1.

It WILL be region locked. TotalBiscuit mentioned it in one of his beta GW2 vids.

They explained it , The region lock is simply locking where you log in from, you will not be able to log in from an EU account in America. In what servers you are playing in , is not locked you can play at what server you want and it doesn't matter where you are. The only problem with this is that people that travel a lot are screwed , but they said they are working on a solution for it.
