"Some games melt your face.
Maybe it was a crazy plot twist. Maybe you just got your wisdom teeth removed.
Either way, this game BLOWS YOUR MIND."

apparently should have included story / atmosphere in the poll. nyeh

Lucid9 for the plot twist. A strange choice I know, but I had a sudden urge to go full hipster mode and voted for "something obscure" for the heck of it.

Undertale has been ruined for me by everybody else - best line that i've read from the game, though (something along the lines of): Be careful... somewhere out there... it's Tuesday. :<
the ending was the best bit of Infinite, though it could also be argued to've been trite >~>

I went with plot twists, and I picked Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma. I would have picked Zero Escape: The Nonary Games instead, but it's not coming out until next year and I figured I'd go with the one that actually existed on Steam.

All three of them are pretty mindblowing, but I prefer the first game (9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors) and its revelations.

I wanted to go with The Typing of the Dead: Overkill because it has hours of cursing building up for one stupid line in the ending ^^ But the game is banned in my country so I can't visit the store page .....

I then decided to go with La-Mulana for its incredible map and puzzle design.

Why that? It is actually a pretty fun game if you don't mind the railshooter nature of its gameplay. And typing words to kill mutants is an interesting coordination exercise. Or do you have a problem with the high amount of cursing? Or the silliness of its story?

""fuck" was the first word i ever learned, up in the third grade, flippin' the gym teacher the bird ("look!")" - which is to say, no problem with profanity :3
was only poking fun at the (")spoiler(")(ish) comment you made :P but who'd play that game for the story? ahaha
