So how did you end up in SteamGifts?

one day i was surfing the web and i have no idea i ended up here, bet this was a scam and all they wanted was my password..... so i never registered.

I don't rememer how I found it, I just registered out of curiosity and did not use the website at all for several months, then I started buying bundle games in a Steam group and people were often linking their SG profile for rep after the trade so I started using SG too

• Saw it.
• Thought it was a scam.
• Tried it anyway.
• Won Dead Island.
• Dis is gon b gud.
• After a while it's time to share so I gave away games.
• Felt good.
• Rinse and repeat.

NeoCore made a 50-copy Deathtrap giveaway on here and they advertised it on facebook. After that, it looked like a nice place to stay :>

a friend showed me the site, when it was called steamtrades :D now i'm giving away games at least once a week which last for 50 hours :D
i'm also trading and checking the forums for deals :D

I used to do giveaways on GameMiner.ru, but once Valve started getting strict on regional games, it became impossible to actually win anything there because 90% of games had become restricted to Russia. During my early level spamming and before gems existed, I used to just give away cheap emotes/backgrounds for free. I found the SG steam group and that seemed like the most suitable place to do it, so I made a thread there where I ended up trading something like 300 emotes. Then I realised it had an actual site, decided to join, hello.

A TF2 server admin I would talk to told me about this site and gave me a code to register with, back when invite codes were required to join.

Well I googled "free steam games" or something like that. But I somehow ended up giving away games before I won any. And now i've ended up here just stalking the forums all the time!

A guy I was trading with told me to leave the +rep here... The very next day I won Bloodsports.TV. I can't thank him enough ;v;

I was looking for a way to trade bundle leftovers (it just seemed inefficient to activate things I was never going to use). This was the only real working platform for doing so I found that day, and I've been here since. I mostly traded, and only started using the giveaway portion of the site recently.

I believe I found this site through reddit (/r/Gamedeals iirc). Someone posted a screenshot of the current giveaway spam and I decided to investigate the site. Once I found I could win free games, I joined immediately. My only regret is I didn't know about this site earlier.

I joined to enter some IndieGala giveaway* featured on their Steam group page or something like that.

I was looking for free Steam games, and after the usual Youtube video videos with "fool-proof" methods, trying to get you to download their Trojan horses (or so I assume) I ended up here.I was skeptical at first but after spending some time on the site it seemed legit enough.

I've tried all the other GA sites that came after but SG being the oldest one it also has the best and largest community, which in turn means more giveaways. (An no pay-2-win gimmicks like GameMiner or Playblink were you need to give them money to join certain giveaways)

someone on the Steam forms was whining about getting banned , I had never herd of this fine place so I came to check it out.
