Well. Only Devs can GA now seems direct. Valve has taken notice of spams from some groups for these GAs.

Digital Homicide will still be around.Gleam prohibits third party of making these GAs but stated clearly that developers are still free to make their own GAs like these, so DH will keep posting their shite ;p

most of their revenue coming from cards and advertising groups on gleam as far as I'm aware, so it's heavy hit (I hope)

This is great, and now I need to clean up Twitter, Steam groups and Instagram (I already went through Twitch and Youtube), am I missing something?

Good. I hope that I don't missed it to leave one of this "curators" after I got the key.

Gleam.io described the reasons very well:

  1. Some of these groups are actively blackmailing developers for keys
  2. Users are required to jump through too many hoops for a simple key
  3. Keys for the same games are getting recycled over and over
  4. Some of these groups are actively breaking Valve TOS by asking users to vote on Greenlight games
  5. Groups are giving away stolen keys that end up being deactivated
  6. These campaigns end up eating up to 25% of our resources but drive less than 0.01% of our revenue

Thanks to the self-proclaimed curators for the many free +1 in my libary, but I don't stood in the groups, deleted the forced spam on my Twitter account and I never cared to vote for greenlight (If I voted, then it was a "Not interested"). :3

In the end, all I can say is that developers should do the giveaways for themself and not let them do some shady "curators".

As far as I know, there never was a way to delete the retweets; only the tweets you yourself made.
Follows can be deleted too, app can be unlinked, but retweets, those pesky spams stay there..

I always clicked the green arrowcircle thingie below them and they disappeared, at least from my account as far as I know. I don't use twitter much.

Correct, did the same and the retweets disappeared. Just logged out and checked if they are really gone.

You mean this?

Only when clicking in the squared one below, (the one with the total amount of retweets) mouse hover says "undo".. I just found out this thanks to you! if you were right next to me I could hug you! :D thanks for this!

Thanks Fenris too, for confirmation purposes and since you were on the crowd watching :P

Good. I love me some free games but there's too many garbage groups hawking terrible 1 dollar game keys from dubious sources. That rabbit hole couldn't have ended anywhere else but someplace shady so I'm glad it's getting plugged shut.

Kept ignoring those crap offers lately. Too much spam going on too little value on the general.

I actually welcome Gleams action. Though i think those groups will adapt.
