Indeed, you can still get the story done. It is costumes, some unique talisman equips (including one for unlimited shift energy), poses, camera props and house decorations that you won't get.
Gravity Rush Remastered was on sale on the US store when I last looked, and can be beaten in a day by itself.

I don't own a PS4 or the game, but I am interested in getting it some day.
A shame some things from the game will be unobtainable by the time I get to it, wish when this sort of thing happened they just released a patch that would let you unlock the extras without the online portion.

As much as people have been requesting that, the game wasn't successful enough for them to care about getting people to work on a patch. They were originally shutting down in January, only a year after release, but fans got them to extend it a few more months at least. Quite fortunate that it meant I had a chance for all this stuff myself, got my PS4 last month.

Costumes are skins only. Talismans are useful though, they are equips with different abilities. Most are just going to be unique items with skills you can get on others, but the one for 6000 Tokens is unlimited Gravity Shift energy.

At least we're not going to lose some important contents, i presume. I want to buy it, but i still have to play the first one and is not really that high on my priorities.

Okay, first of all, for anyone that hasn't already heard, the game will have online services shut down on the 19th of June. If you care about getting everything, you will need to get on that quickly. Online features like treasure hints, photo ratings and game challenges are required to earn Dusty Tokens which unlock a few exclusive costumes and other items. Treasure chests also have a bunch of exclusive items, and while they can be found offline, they rarely spawn anywhere you might find them without hints.
Fortunately, getting the Tokens can go faster by having people on your PSN friend list to help send easy challenges (beaten challenges earn 180, tied challenges earn both players 50, a loss is 5). I've been working on my own Tokens for a while so I don't need to win any more challenges if anyone wants to friend me on PSN for easy to beat challenges. :P

If anyone doesn't already own it, the game has gotten a price drop on the North American PSN , while the PAL store has it discounted for another day. So best time to grab it if you were interested and want to get everything.
