I played it a couple of years ago and it's one my favourite survival games but also really and I mean really hard in the start as you have to very careful with everything because a lot of things kill you, I did not play the DLCs tho. Altough it's a good price I dont know if it's not best to wait for it to be in a bundle because a lot of my friends dropped it after a couple of hours, which I cant blame them because the learning curve at the start is pretty big.

It looks like it might be tough to learn as well.. I find that i play game and keep playing it if it has game mechanics that i am already familiar with.. For instance i haven't gotten into ark yet, lost interest a few times, perhaps just because of the different mechanics. What are a few games that it is closest to in terms of gameplay? Ya.. probably should wait for a bundle.. But it is tempting as i like survival.

The closest I have played was probably The Forest but even if they are very similiar at first glance Green Hell is more complex.
The forest to me felt like you survive the few first days, build a fairly big base then go off to the dungeons and become OP while in Green Hell it felt like its was truly a survival game where a small distraction could lead me to death at all time.

The bundle has been cheaper previously, so no big deal and unlikely a price error.
They just changed the bundle discount from -50% to -67%.
Now, if they also discounted the game on top of that, that would be a nice deal indeed.

Indeed, seems like a marketing strategy. I suppose changing the discount rate on bundles doesn't count as discounting the items themselves, so there's no "cooldown" or whatsoever compared to item discounts, it's just something more "hidden" in general.
