You only have to go to the steamdb link and click free.

- Click "free".
- It will ask to open with steam.
- Click ok/open.
- Close the installation window.
- Now you have the game in your account. See license page.

Thanks for help but I still can't get it to work. When I click on "free" it opens a small window that says:
Open URL: Steam protocol?
and my options are to open or cancel. When I click on Open it goes to my Steam client and loads the game page there. No installation window shows up.

True. I checked the above method with a different steam account. It seems that they have fixed all the games.
Only licenses of Estranged: Act II, Grimm, HITMAN™ 2 and The Descendant can be added to the account which are actually free for a long time.
I'm not sure if ASF method still works. Someone using ASF may confirm it.

Yeah it should be updated to [ENDED] or something. It's just a personal annoyance when people ignore all previous pages of discussion and then everything gets repeated on every new page. Well I'm glad I added the games while I could, though I didn't really farm any cards as that's not something I regularly do. Made for some nice +1 and games I might play.
The only one I regret having missed within the first dew days was Dark Matter which is on my WL. :( Oh well, what can you do, you win some, you lose some.
Does this mean Valve is going to fix all packages of this type, even the ones we haven't potentially discovered yet, or only the ones that have been written in this thread have been fixed?
Curious to know whether we should keep looking for them or not.

I tried to play Cat Burglar: A Tail of Purrsuit, its in my library and it shows that i own it, but after the install the game is 0 b / 0 b .. and can't play it, there is some error...

Maybe you should move Cat Burglar and RoboVirus to "completely removed", since the devs removed the depots from the subs, unless you already downloaded them before the removal you can't play them anymore.

ASF and Wiki.
It farms cards from games and has many other functions. One of them is using the commands to add licenses.
http://127.0.0.1:1242 it's the url you have to go once the software is installed and IPC funcion active. Make sure to always start ASF with admin rights so you have no problems with IPC.

Several of these the package has been completely removed from the subid or removed in another way. So I highly doubt when you say noone of theese are removed for you.
Most of them wasnt even +1 to library to begin with because they where free on demand.

Do you know any free game on Steam Store that drop cards? Or any paid game that you currently gets for free? As far as I know, Grimm, HITMAN™ 2 and The Descendant provide us these free card drops, while Glare1more is a paid game that you could get for free through some ways. If you know any other game that fits these conditions, feel free to share. I will update the list if there's more games.
Tip: Even if the game doesn't give you a +1 on your library or drop cards, get it! When the dev fix the problem, it will start to drop cards (if the game has it) and count +1 on library. The games Dark Matter, Glare1more and TRAPPED are a proof ot that.

Note about "Estranged: Act II": The game is currently in early access and doesn't drop cards, but according to the dev, when the game is out of early access, it will cost something, and if there's a popular request, he can add trading cards in the future, so I recommend you all to add a comment there asking for trading cards and add this game to you library right now while it's free to guarantee your cards.
