If you did the WHOLE trade in a trade window, you might get a one-time refund.

If not, tough shit.

Sorry to hear that friend. Use this as a learning experience to ensure that it doesn't happen to you again. Also, here's a guide.

Make sure to report the scammer on Steamrep with proof.

Steam rep is a waste of time they have a backlog of almost 2 years of reports, for the most part none of the admins really care anymore.

Fortress of Gamers would be a good place to start rather than SR. They are WAY quicker (I did one report there of a scammer and got him tagged within 24 hours. SR still has 2 of my attempted scam reports pending from last year)

He's already got a scammer tag. Too bad not many people use Enhanced Steam.

Wait, you mean that the Nigerian Prince who emailed me yesterday was a scammer? Come on, now... Why would anyone lie to me?

Don't worry, Nigerian princes are exempt from that rule.

Those guys are legit. They all work at the Nigerian Prince Factory trying to send free money back to the people from taxes the government calculates wrong.

I asked because i thought it was somehow Steam's fault, maybe the scammer exploited a bug or something like that.
