They knew they were releasing two new Creed games today, albeit one not even on PC yet, and it just to seems like they didn't prepare for it with all their pre order profit.
Also, steam has a hell of a lot more games and users to handle.

i think you'll find that valve doesnt prepare itself for big server loads either. every year, regular as clockwork, the major sales make steam incredibly unstable, and year after year, valve does nothing to address the problem.

Totally true, but again, the pure volume of users is vastly different. I'm curious to know what amount of prep would handle their big sales.

I'd blame it, but right now the freaking disc seem to be the issue... The installation pauses midway and it then rerolls the installation. Sucks...

Register the key, anyway. You'll still have the disk, but you'll also have a backup source in case it ever becomes important, someday.

Good suggestion, but the key is already registered to my Uplay account from about a year ago. But now, I'd want to install the game using my physical disc due to my capped internet.

You can try ISO buster, google it I manage to save couple of disc with it couple of years back.

I am no fan of Ubi but Steam does go down also nothing is immune from going to shit and needing to be fixed.

If i must say though Drive SF IMO sucks and that series has not been good since Driver 2,but as i said that is just my opinion.

Maybe it is trying to tell you something and does not want you to play the game lol

Still i know how you feel seems like when you really need something that is when it lets you down at times.

Luckily, I still don't pre-order, just wanted to register a couple DLC codes. At least it's nothing urgent for me, but finding their system down is just sad.
