From the past month my sister it's Insisting me to give to the anime games the oportunity which I never gave to 'em. And I think she's right, it's an unfounded hate which maybe can be forget whit the right game.

I'm here to ask for any sugestion to people whit more experience in this genre. I have a lot of games whit the anime label on my library (mainly the ones which I've deleted before, requesting to the support to be restored to my library again), mainly 'cause I want to give 'em a big oportunitty, not play 1 or 2 and say that I hate 'em all.

Something I would like you can consider before suggest, it's that I don't like the games which his story it's based in romance and love. Mainly 'cause for me it's hard to feel certain emotions, being that one of them, reason why at the end I lose the interest in that story.

Giveaway (Level 2+)

Thanks to everyone for take the time to suggest games. I hope to can play some of 'em as soon as possible.

I will definitely recommend Valkyria Chronicles and War of the Human tanks.
The first is a strategy-third-person-shooter-hybrid and the latter is comparable to the Advance Wars series. At first the graphics were a little off-putting to me, but it has a surprinsingly deep story and interesting gameplay.

Mhh, if you search for "Anime" Games which actually are based on an anime...

Maybe stuff like
One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 (you dont need to know anything about the story, as the game more or less starts at the beginning....with skipping a lot of unnecessary parts)
One of the Naruto games (but for that i would recommend to at least know a bit about it....like the characters and partialy the story up to some parts)
Arslan: Warriors of Legends

Yeahh, all 3 of that are more or less fighting games.

if it shall be some of the "Anime" Games which people lable "Anime" Games just because they have a similar art style....or come from Japan....

Mhh...
Maybe something like
Bayonetta
Vanquish
One of the Final Fantasy games (?)
Ys Series (or at least some of them)
And if you like such stuff....maybe Senran Kagura Bon Apettit......^^

I haven't played it yet, though it's high on my wishlist, but I've heard a lot of good things about Attack on Titan / A.O.T. Wings of Freedom. I really want to play this one.

From what I've read, watching the series (or reading the manga) is apparently not necessary, though recommended as the series has better pacing.

(mainly the ones which I've deleted before, requesting to the support to be restored to my library again)

What was the result of this? Did Steam's support restore the games without a hiccup?

For what I'm looking in the store, It's something simillar to Shadow of The Colossus but... weird? Very weird.

The system it's completelly automatic, I've put the name of the previously deleted game, press "is not on my library" and "return it to my library " and done, the games are available to download again, even with the DLC's which I had.

Well, it's based on an anime that uses this as their opening theme. Watch it at least twice, once for the lyrics (subtitled at top) and once for the visuals. Someone has done a rough English translation here.

Ok, if you want an anime stile game I can recommend a few based on different styles you might like.

  • Arcade/Fighting: "Guilty Gear", "Blazblue", "SkullGirls".
  • Fighting 3D: Mainly Naruto Series (even if you didn't see the anime you can still enjoy the game because it tells you about it as you advance) and "Saint Seiya: Soldiers' Soul" (same as the first).
  • VN: Here you have 2 tipes, the ones that are pure novel like "Fate Stay Night" (I highly recommend this one) and those that are more complex but still are a VN at it's core "Danganronpa" (detective novel) or "Corpse Party" (horror).
  • Action: "Monster Hunter" (there is one coming to PC these year if I'm right), God Eater series (there are only 2), "Final Fantasy Dissidia Duodecim" (I never played a FF game before playing this one and still I loved it).
  • RPG: Basically any of the FF games could do (I personally prefer the first one and the fourth)
