Puzzle #1
Puzzle #2

My first puzzle....s
They shouldn't be hard, what with google and such.
Yes, if you are wondering I have a nice long train hidden behind them, the train will be on the rails for ten days.

Train ended, thanks everybody that answered my questions and the feedback on my puzzles. I think when I make more puzzles in the future I'll try to keep them at this level.
Again thank you everybody.

It is fun to make. But is the quiz itself, fun?

That's the thing.

(explain, please)

When the puzzle-maker relies on bad logic, poor formatting, or their personal perspective; or when the puzzle-maker doesn't respect the time of those involved by making sure to list the potential prizes for completion beforehand, then no, it's nearly never worth bothering with.

Thank you mentioning a couple of different ways to "fix it" I shortened the link.
Makes it look nicer to, not a long combo of letters and numbers... those always end up as an eye-sore.

here is a puzzle, we start with an empty safe owned by X, X prints lots of bits of paper each of which has some of what is in the safe as collateral, X then loans the bits of paper to Y a politician at interest, Y then spends the bits of paper into the economy and charges taxes.
Once you understand why the ordinary people in society use those worthless bits of paper you will have solved the mysteries of authority and power.

The paper isn't worthless. Being able to exchange it for useful items or services makes it by definition not worthless.

actually it's taxation and that the money is only put into the economy via loans at interest so that people overall will always owe more than is actually in circulation that helps deflate the currency, the economy can be deliberately crashed at will by dumping money in without being tied to a loan leading to inflation. it's a sweet deal for those collecting interest on money they never had collateral on though.

Yes. I love puzzle games, so I got to do them. I don't like puzzles on SG, though. I'd rather play a puzzle game

Can't figure out what #1 is on pictures, a stick? A wand? A whistle? Google has no clue either, the image footprint is too small to make anything out. “It doesn't look like anything to me” @

Plus, #5, I know the game name, the protagonist title (in the last game), the gang name in plural and singular — no luck. Not sure what I am looking for.

(answering your question, I am concerned about the Jigidi: I like ITH and other thinking puzzles, but see jigsaws as a mindless waste of time, just click-click-click, I guess OK for someone to relax after work, if you have nothing better to do)

Number 1 It is a sword
Number 5 It isn't the gang name I'm seeking, use #6 as an example if you have that one solved and it shouldn't be to difficult, I gave number five a bunch of answers.

I'm the exact opposite, I prefer Jigidi over ITH, at times it feels like it's the only puzzles on SG I can pull off without the aid of google.
With Jigidi it's exactly as you put it, mindless, it's something some people need. No thinking just doing. I find that fun at times.
With ITH, me personally, I struggle with almost every single one of them that pops up. Sometimes if they are made with the right topic I can pull em' off without google, but the majority of time I have to use google, and that kinda just drains the fun out of it for me.

BUT I can understand why some prefer ITH over Jigidi. Mindless and pointless isn't always fun after all.

I'm also having some trouble identifying that Number 1 (and knowing what it is somehow just makes it more baffling, i have no recolection of that thing at all), everything else was pretty straight forward.

*Needed 50 minutes to figure that one out and no thanks to google. The Jigidi more than made up for the frustration for me thou. Jigidis are great. Thanks for the ride (:

Yeah, no, still lost on both (#6 was extremely easy, btw, but I don't see how it can apply to the game in #5 at all). I guess I am just not familiar enough with whatever the 1st game is, and with the 5th. It happens :))) Thanks for trying to help.

I guess it does prove your point — some ITH are merely a test of previous knowledge, instead of being any sort of exercise. Either you know the answer or your don't, which makes it no more “brainful” than jigsaws. I did encounter some ITH that made you think, though — word puzzles, codes, subtle references, and those are the most rewarding ones for me.
