I experienced too that i hide stuff and the next day or 2 days later that stuff shows up again. Because i set it on not interested at steam too no mistakes are possible.
The first times i thought i remembered wrong but after many more i was sure the wrong thing lay not at my side.

I hid the game/DLC already ages ago.
I now had to click it again to hide it from the main page. In the GA itself the "Hide" icon was not visible, so SG already knew I had it set to "hidden" yet still showed it on the main page.

If you're looking in "all", "wishlist", "recommended", etc. It will not appear.
But if you're looking at a specific group or user, you will see all GAs, even the ones you chose to ignore.

I've noticed the past week or weeks that I sometimes see GAs for stuff and when I check the gifter it indicates that I had set them to be invisible.
I can't remember if they were just DLCs or complete games.
Currently it is for the Shadowrun Returns Deluxe DLC (10P)
In the creators List the icon to hide it is not visilbe, ie. was selected.
In the main Giveaways page it was visible so I had to select it again to hide the GA.
