Show me. I want to read them too. Maybe you create your own comics?

And for some mandatory recommendations:
Markus Färber - Reprobus (https://markusfaerber.de/#/reprobus/)
One of my favourites, bought a copy kind off by accident and loved it immidiately. Very minimalistic style but incredibly beautiful, every time you read it you can see something new. Tells a story of a brute giant that one day goes on a quest to find someone stronger than him. It's a tale about understanding who you are and trying to change. I'll finish there to keep it spoiler-free ;)
So hit me with something new to read :)

Have a good day people!

I wzajemnie ;)
Nutka absurdu i zgrabne metafory.
A Aterixa oczywiście znam, klasyka ;)

I really enjoy finding "gems" among unpopular series. My new favourites:

  • Exlibrium (each chapter is drawn by a different artist; has a pretty intriguing plot related to famous books` characters)
  • Totsukuni no Shoujo/The Girl from the Other Side (lots of mysteries and dark atmosphere)
  • Beastars ("Dark Zootopia" as it is called by fans; shows lots of problems in this type of world which were not mentioned in a movie)

Hard second for The Girl from the Other Side (which is Totsukuni no Shoujo's official English title!). That's the only piece of hers that got translated, but I love all Nagabe's work. They share my love of weird monster/interspecies romance.

Won't talk about DC and Marvel comics nor mangas, the list would be way too long ^^

  • Coraline, The Graveyard Book and Sandman, by Neil Gaiman
  • Transmetropolitan and Planetary, by Warren Ellis
  • V for Vendetta and Top 10, by Allan Moore
  • Locke & Key, by Joe Hill
  • Descender and Sweet Tooth, by Jeff Lemire
  • Tokyo Ghosts, by Rick Remender
  • Hellboy, by Mike Mignola
  • Wake, by Jean-David Morvan (French comic)
  • Y: The Last Man, by Brian K. Vaughan
  • Fables, by Bill Willingham
  • The Goon and HillBilly, by Eric Powell
  • I hate Fairyland, by Scottie Young
  • The Woods, by James Tynion IV

Yup, this is the one. Lot's of great stuff in there. I can personally vouch for Sandman (possibly the best story ever created in any medium imo) as well as V for Vendetta, Locke & Key, Tokyo Ghost (not my favorite Murphy or Remender book but it's still beautiful, fun and has some shit to say), Y: The Last Man and I Hate Fairyland

Most of the others are on my to read list too. I like your tastes

I don't read quite as much as I used to these days but I do have a shelf full of comics sitting next to my desk. Outside of the obvious stuff that's been mentioned already (Sandman being top tier for me), some of favorites include Daytripper, Tank Girl (the Jamie Hewlett drawn ones especially), Blacksad, Punk Rock Jesus and J.H. Williams' Batwoman. I haven't finished it but Deadly Class is also great, as is East of West. Gillen and McKelvie's Young Avengers is super creative and fun. And if you want something really crazy and old school, checkout Jodorowsky and Moebius' L'incal. It's weird, it's trippy and it's amazing
