A question regarding Dungeons and Dungeons The Dark Lord.

As you probably know, the two games are on sale due to the Kalypso anniversary. I haven't had much contact with any of the Kalypso titles so far and I only had limited experience with Dungeon Keeper. Would you say that the games are worth it (without comparing then to Dungeon Keeper)?If so, which one is better? I know the gold pack is also on sale, however I'd much rather buy the better one if the situation would allow it. Your input would be greatly appreciated :)

It's Dungeons, do not mistake it for the holy DnD

But the game's worth it, I had lots of fun playing it a year ago :) haven't tried The Dark Lord tho

From what I know, this game has almost nothing in common with Dungeon Keeper.
I suggest you to watch TotalBiscuit WTF video about the game on youtube to help you forge an opinion about it. I watched it, and the game looked pretty boring to be honest. :/

I have watched TotalBiscuit's video about The Dark Lord. I saw how slow it was, but I also recall him saying that it could be good once it gets past the tutorials (it wouldn't be the first game, either). That's the main reason why I wanted to find out what other people that played it found out. If at least some of you enjoyed Dungeons, then I might get one of them after all. The Dark Lord should be an "improved version". At least theoretically. If I'm wrong about this and someone has further input, feel free to let me know :D

Neither game resembles Dungeon Keeper at all. They're not in the same genre. Do not buy them for that reason. If you want them for other reasons, go ahead. =) They're kind of fun.

I've got the game from a friend and it's quite fun. I've never played DK, and while it's not the extreme best gaming experience of my life, I found it pretty cool.

It's pretty fun, I've played Dungeons but I don't know about The Dark Lord yet, haven't played it. If you like the look of the game, it can be enjoyable.
