You don't have to watch it. You can mute it and leave it in the background. That's what I did.

You have a point but I feel like I'd be encouraging them in that kind of things.
They want us to watch some boring promotional stream, fine but there should be more than cosmetic trinkets at the end of it.
Although, to be fair, those might be the coolest looking trinkets they have offered in a long time, sales included

I've had others work but unfortunately this one didn't work for me, I didn't get the drops. Started yesterday and had it running over night. Tried a couple browsers. Not sure what I'm missing or if I already missed it.

Hmm, I've never noticed. I didn't know they showed the progress for drops on streams. Where does it show up for you?

When you click on your blue account icon near the top right where it drops down. It showed in that drop down.

I don't have the drop, that's the whole point. Before you get the drop, during the hour you watch a stream you can see the percentage of the progress until you get the drop. Does that make sense to you? Seems hard these days. :P

if they implemented this, this would be visible all the time

or you have some kind of addon

but Steam dont have it as feature lol

I am not talking about Steam. I am talking about Twitch. Do a simple google search about checking your drop progress on Twitch. Are you trolling me because it's broken on Twitch for some users? Sigh...

Did you manage to get the Twitch drops? I saw the progress increase but once i reached 100% there was no notifications and it doesnt show progress anymore, i also checked the inventory and there is nothing

I went ahead and submitted a support ticket with Twitch. Probably the only remedy for the ones that can't get the drop to drop.
