Opinions on guardians of middle earth?

From reviews I've read, it's decent in its own way as a simple console port and not really comparable to the big name PC MOBAs. Personal view (based on the trailer only and no actual gameplay at all): LoTR lore purist fanatics will have a fit over the treatment of the characters and settings. This game seems like a good point of entry for MOBA beginners, though.

Edit: Gaaaah. Just launched it and changed the settings to windowed right away. Now it's impossible to see the screen and to use the mouse cursor in any capacity. The only way to even have the game unfreeze and become visible is to switch focus to another window. Restarting the game causes even the logo to freeze and not show up in addition to the lack of any possibility for input mouse or keyboardwise. Guess I'll reinstall and hope I don't forget to leave it at fullscreen. D:

I have been PC gaming since 1992, and am having a ton of fun with this game!
What is all the whining and complaining about?
I have had hardly any lag at all and no DC's....I don't care about comparisons to LoL and DoTA, because frankly if I liked those 2 games I would be playing them instead.
The Tolkien lore is great, with cool characters from JRR Tolkiens Middle Earth, which is the grandfather of all Fantasy universes, of which other game worlds just rip off from.
I have been playing with KB and mouse, the graphics are beautiful, the game is fun, the voice overs are great.
My only complaint is that half the players in each game are usually the AI bots, due to lack of players.
To be honest with you, I could care less....some of the AI bots are better than the real players.
I played this game all day yesterday, and plan to keep playing, and if that is against 100% AI bots? Then fine. I am having a blast all the same.
I guess, it is today's gaming generation? They seem to complain about everything.

I just sat 8 minutes in queue for pvp. Only got 3 people. Then I tried pve again and didn't get enough people again. It has potential, but needs to lose the peer to peer host system. Depending on the host the game can be very laggy. It's rather unbalanced and pretty much shits on anything Tolkien. ala.. gollum is better than sauron. So leave anything lotr behind when you try it. The gem system actually seems new and interesting. Won't keep you entertained for long though as there isn't much to choose from. Someone like "angrygamer" is rather an exception with this game. Pretty sure most won't stand how it currently is.

I hope the humble bundle brings some life to this game, then maybe i'll try it.
I have a couple of friends who are into tolkien and we just laughed when we saw the trailer and the characters.

Gollum attacking gandalf? Lol, next i want to see frodo or sam bitchslapping sauron until he curses in russian and ragequits.

It's a "MOBA", obviously you wouldn't play this, because there are way better ones like Dota 2, LoL or pretty much everything else. The only reason this is a thing is because it was created for consoles, where there was barely any of that kind of game.

Its like Dota 2 and League of Legends, the game its nice but the controls are very weird, slow sometimes to perform and the attacks sometimes are clumsy but for humble and all nice its cool to play, keep it :3

Should have Game of Thrones characters instead.

the game is slow, im a lotro fan but...this game.....nothing of special.

Are there enough player? Some players claimed about bots in every game because there werent enough real players playing the game.

It was alright on PS3 (got it through PS+) though it was generic as hell and had the depth of a small puddle.
