If you eat/have eaten fast food at least once per year, what is your favorite restaurant?
Chik Fil A is not on the list, time to grab my pitchfork.

I think none of the options can compete the ultimate greek fast food! :P

I would tell you to stop eating them, because you'll die by high cholesterol, blood sugar, triglycerides, etc. but you won't, since they're 100% plastic. xD Thankfully, these fast food restaurants failed in Greece.

I've been really thin my whole life, and can't seem to gain weight no matter how many milkshakes I chug. It might be catching up to me now though, since some girls in Thailand were debating if I was a ladyboy while pointing at my manboobs.

Being thin has nothing to do with health and you know it. :P There are thin people with health problems. By the way, since you said boobs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AkvFH3TqIjA

That's true. Health checks showed slightly high sodium, but tests for manboobs were inconclusive because they were not performed. And bonus points for Al Bundy.

I just looked this up. I liked fried eel and sushied eel, but never seen jellied before. Is it sweet or pickled?

Pretty much ;)
Edit: I should add that it's all about the special sauce.

Like FNord above - I do love me some streetfood/fastfood but not from any chain restaurants - hate most of them, they are mass produced from weak ingredients and taste weak. I like buying stuff from local places, food trucks etc. We have quite a few great pizzeriaz, burger joints and food trucks in my city with great quality. In Spring-Summer there are even food truck festivals which I attend quite often ;)

A food truck festival sounds like a great way to bring a community together over food, actually.

it does that, these festivals always bring up some heavy crowds ;p you can see last one in this gallery

The takoyaki and Korean ingredients make me feel like it would have a Japanese and/or Korean origin story, but it's from Canada?

I was going to ask if you're from Argentina or Chile, and yep. Chorizo is a good choice.

Wow, I thought it's bigger- Belfrit is a franchise (20 restaurants in 3 countries) focusing on Belgian foods, sister-organization of the Belgian Best-Frit. They have quite a lot deep-fried products, but they taste exceptionally good - camambert, onion rings, french fries, cheese balls with chili in it, etc. And it doesn't even have the factory-made taste of McDonald's burgers, for example. Here this would be the best franchised fast-food of my recommendation, but most of the time like Fnord, I would prefer smaller restaurants or bars with their pizza / gyros :)

I never heard of it, sadly, but I would be curious about European-origin fast food chains. I only put up mainly North American and East Asian places above due to personal experience, but I'm guessing there's a whole new world of Euro fast food I don't know anything about. Deep-friend cheese balls sounds like it would be huge in the southern USA.

Sadly here we lack so many - we have questionable quality hamburgers, hotdog rarely, the country lives in the holy trinity of pizza-chinese-gyros/schwarma/kebab of street food. Few turkish restaurants, but I really miss indian or something like that, to spice up our options :) Like Curry is not even a thing here, besides the spice...

If I want a sandwich I go to Subway (Oven Roasted Chicken Breast only)
If I want Pizza definitely Papa Johns (Cici's Pizza for Buffet)
If I want Chicken, Long John Silvers (that batter is damn good)
If I want Italian I'm screwed. We used to have a good Italian place until it burnt to the ground.
For fast Mexican, Taco Bell is the best. For buffet Mexican we have a local chain of really good food.
For burgers, nothing beats a grill (so Burger King)

I'm back in the USA for a short stint now, and Cici's was one of the must-visit places. Buffet 4 Lyfe.

Nando's, but we don't have it in many places in the US :(

I had it as an option but left it off in the end since I didn't know if anyone would have been. I ate there once a month in Kuala Lumpur and thought it was just a Malaysian thing. It's in Seattle?

So when I was younger I lived in Malawi for a number of years and got introduced to it that way since it's a south african chain and the countries are pretty close to each other. Only other place I've had a chance to get it was in London a few years ago. There isn't one in seattle unfortunately, but I think there are some on the east coast of the US (washington DC I'm pretty sure has one). I'm hoping they continue expanding in the US because I'd definitely go there if there was on here!

Had no idea it was from South Africa. I'd have thought India. The chicken sets were really good, and the whole atmosphere felt classier than you'd expect for fast food. To expansion!

yeah I'd say my favorite chain would be bojangles. They make KFC look like they are serving midget chickens.

Never even heard of this. Is it an invite-only secret society?

I think it's only in the southern part of the US

Damn, I lived in TN, MS, and LA for nearly 20 years and never saw one of these. Wonder if it's more of a SC thing.

I think it's was more of a NC thing but the biscuits they make are about 3x's the size of the kfc biscuits. Everything they have is bigger than kfc

White Castle. God I LOVE their burgers. And you can eat SO many in a sitting.
McDonald's is the worst garbage imaginable on that list. Haven't been to a McDonald's in 20 years. And I'll NEVER go to one again. Ever.

McDonald's can be a convenient study hall.

I'm really surprised you're the only rep for Tim Hortons as of now. I thought it was huge in Canada.

I messed up not including pizza chains, but I didn't consider them as fast food since they're often delivery places that take 30 minutes in the USA. Foiled by my ethnocentrism again.

Just curious. I usually cook at home and try not to eat it much, but I'm not above the occasional two #9's and #9 large.
