you dont actually explain exactly HOW you criticized. its hard to judge when you dont tell the whole story.

I think we are missing a big part of the story in here. Also people most often than not don't take straight up criticism well. Try to be more subtle or prepare to face an eventual abuse of power (That considering this went as you state it did)

I know specific community sections are actually moderated by developers. I had my forum posts deleted in the section for the game; Dark. I had reviewed the game and tried to warn people against spending $40 on it.

I once got an infraction for posting "you mad bro?" in the old steam forum. I wouldn't be surprised if they have some kind of mod bot :P

the game specific steam forums almost all are moderated by that specific game's developer/publisher!
