Winter sale from tuesday to tuesday? Doesn't it always start on Thursday?
Thursday 24th is Christmas Eve, not a good time to start a sale.
Even without typing the dates into Google (to determine the day of the week they fell on), the fact that it began on the 22nd two years in a row seems to indicate that's a no. [List of sale dates up through the start of 2019 here.]
That site failed to predict most if not all of the latest Steam sales. Would suggest that you bookmark this instead https://steamdb.info/sales/history/
thanks, booked marked it.
im preparing my wallet
...oh wait, i will be playing cp2077 xD
If it will not be postponed again
Well, this comment aged spectacularly :D
Came here for the thread being bumped, stayed for the retrospective.
Hope they're better than the October one.
more like -33% and -50% as every "sale" if we can consider a sale the "these" prices after the game its released 5-10 years ago.. or even more like some COD games that always are 50% even if they have 15 years old.
these -75% -> - 90% are always the same crap games that no one buy the 99% of times.
more chances for "poor" users to suddenly find $50 under their bed and spend it on themselves <3
alms for the greedy needy with the latest iphone 😏
I'm just waiting for the $4.99 to come back again.
Fanatical had it before for less than $5, they had a pick n mix one last year which was $10 for 3 titles that included BG:EE. I bought Baldur's Gate: The Complete Saga for $10 at Fanatical two years ago though.
They've also had Icewind Dale EE + Planescape Torment for $6 [>>], and I wanna say that wasn't the only $6 two-pack (or even the only iteration of the pick & mix you mentioned). In short, Fanatical is generally a good source for deals on those. Which makes it all the more surprising that it's so hard to get the games reliably for $5 each on Steam. :S
Rather, looking at dys's link, it's been a year and a half since they last went below $10 each on the Steam Store.. o.O;
My Steam Wallet is bulging, but my real wallet has better things to do these days. :)

nope, 1 fortnight as always
Somehow i saw the autumn sale date as the original winter sale date. Dec 25-jan 1 thought you strike them out for a new date. LOL
🎶 No Sleep Tonight
Well, for the last several years there really has been no reason to lose sleep over the sales - the sales are the same for the full duration, so no panic-buying that flash-sale!
I'm still excited though! I'm always excited about sales :D
