Looks like Samurai Shodown has hit an all-time low on Steam. 68% off of the Kiwami Pack (which includes all the seasons):

It's -40% for me when I am not logged in and -90% when I am. My guess it's some sort of discount for base game owners.

EDIT: Can't find info about it. Can somebody confirm it?

90% off for me. £2.99. I own Overcooked 2 on Steam already :)

is it still 90% off for you? if that is the price for oc2 owners it seems it is worth buying both of them

edit; it was a mistake and it is no longer 90% off
too bad, I would genuinely love to buy it, but with current price, hell no, in 20 years maybe

Don't know about other time zones, but here in America it's usually 10am PST / 1pm EST.

I'm a little surprised that the newer Binding of Isaac didn't really get any kind of discount, except kinda as part of the "complete" Edmund McMillan (Blue King?) bundle, but even then it doesn't include the most recent DLC.

It's always a good time to buy Bloodlines, currently 50% off.

Be sure to grab the Unofficial Plus Patch here: https://www.moddb.com/mods/vtmb-unofficial-patch

To run the patch through the Steam client, just add "-game Unofficial_Patch" to the launch options.

Yeah, I don't really understand why everyone is splitting hairs over the price.

The game is still incredibly unique, even today. There's nothing else quite like it.

Yea, I'm waiting too. The game may be good, but its also 15+ years old atp and appears to require fan mods to work correctly.

I remember that sale. It was back in the Halloween Sale from 2013.

Even at 50% off it costs 4 times as much as what I paid for it at the time of release (in my currency, no idea if it's the same for others). Insanely overpriced for a 17 y.o. game. Good thing I still have the disc somewhere.

How do the RTS's compare to age of empires? Decent base building? They do look interesting.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

They are not as great as Age of Empires but I think they were great in combat and tactics and base building :)

These three were the first games by Bulgarian studio Haemimont Games (Tropico 3/4/5, Surviving Mars, etc) - in fact, Tzar was the first commercially-released Bulgarian game ever, and probably my favorite from the trio :)

Interesting, definitely big fan of the tropicos and didn't know they made surviving Mars, glad I picked it up when it was free!

Season Pass is cheaper ($5 vs $2 x 3 = $6). The Digital Deluxe edition includes Season Pass + Soundtrack/Digital Good so it's more expensive

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Well for me Season Pass costed 24,75 PLN while 3 DLCs costed 23,22 PLN.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

The soundtrack isn't in the season pass.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I never said it is. I just said it is strange that buying a season pass that gives me 3 DLCs cost me more than buying the 3 DLCs without the season pass.

Hardly anything from my wishlist worth getting. But I'll buy Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD and Homefront: The Revolution, this one mainly for Timesplitters 2. Ghostbusters is also at a nice price, but I'll watch some reviews for this one first to see if it's my thing since I don't really care for Ghostbusters.

If you also have Epic games, please check if you don't own Ghostbusters there. It was free at some point.

ugh, I should have bought Ghostbusters a few years ago when it was $2.50

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

If you don't care for Ghostbusters you really aren't going to enjoy the game at all. The game is very linear and the gameplay is very basic and repetitive (think other movie tie-in games). There's a lot of references to the movies and similar humor to the movies, which is the main appeal of the game. I still enjoyed it somewhat, but I like the movies.

Yeah, that's what I gathered from watching reviews. Really doesn't interest me. Thanks!
