I don't feel sorry for you, because you didn't lose anything. I hope you'd have learned to be more careful with trading, but apparently you were cautious enough. There is no need to contact Steam support.

I just didn't get scammed too, but today they possibly tried again:

Scammers browse SteamTrades, they open random threads with interesting games (but they totally don't pay much attention, what is there), then they mass add traders. After you accept it, they ask WHICH GAMES FOR TRADE YOU HAVE, lol. Best to answer to such idiots "none, bye". If you ask them how did they found you, without knowing which games you have, they will ofc reply, that they already closed page etc. Now they will offer good game key and ask what can you offer for it. At that moment I already delete, but I remember, some time ago conversation was ending on "accidentally I don't have ST account".

I don't feel like trading anymore i try once in a while to get rid of some stuff, but people either try to scam me, or screw me over with crap. so, i got my igs sitting in my mailbox, and give them away here once in a while when i feel like it...

Well I'm not a great trader myself but so far almost half my trades involved keys on one say or the other. I have never been scammed yet. it's easy to say things from my perspective but well, I actually find a bit difficult to be scammed. No offense meant but you have to be either too naive or too trustful.

Free tip: When trading, always doublecheck everything and if you have any doubts, don't trade. As simple as that.
