Creepy or kind?

Not creepy at all. I have a steam friend that does it all the time (you know who you are) and its a very kind gesture. If you are worried though, just write a comment on their profile :)

edit: plus if someone has a public profile its because they want or don't mind people seeing it. Theres always a choice to go private if you don't want people poking around

On a more serious note, I nearly always accept any friend request. What confuses me/creeps me out is when they don't talk to you whatsoever afterwards. If you don't say anything to me after a week or so I'll remove you again.

it ain't creepy at all though. only annoying depending on person. for me exa. a friend a year+ ago won like $40K on that nonsense cs go knife skin betting stuff. so of course buncha idiot youngun's tried adding me to get to him. its almost like trying to call a person. 'do i recognize this number or pick up the phone..."

Sadly i do not upkeep my wish list anymore it is to much work to slog through it if i add games i want...

Anyhow on the subject of creepy it got me thinking ...if a creep invites a creep is that normal or super creepy?

I find it easier to leave my Profile Wall open to comments so the person can leave a message there if they wish. It makes it easier for someone to accept, and I always post a comment on their Wall if they have it available so they know the reason for my sending them a friend request.:)

Kind. Not creepy as long as:

1. No advertising (mlm / herbal stuffs / cult / new age, etc)
2. No flirting

*Achoo* My profile is settup to avoid random people, so usually it's fairly interesting when people add me :p

I have done this and will continue to do so from time to time. So, no I don't think it's creepy. :-)

I think Santa is creepy. I cried as a kid when I first saw my grandma dressed as Santa (didn't know it was her).
As for random adds, I don't like those. It's good to leave a comment on their profile or in an old giveaway before. Wonderful idea though :)
