Anyho, Half Life and Half-Life: Opposing Force are by far the best in the series and are definitely worth playing.
Then come Half-Life 2 and it's episodes which are decent-ish.
Ignore blue shift though.

Also the mod support is a plus.

If you want to try the Half-Life series, you should also pick up Black Mesa. It's a (not entirely complete) remake of Half-Life 1 using the Half-Life 2 technology. It's free.

I have HK2 + exps since released.
But my answer is YES. Get them ALL because they are cool games :D

You can get Half Life Complete pack for $5 on steamtrades. People sell it for that. I got it for myself.
