I propose a new filter on giveaways that limit the entrants by their giveaway win/loss ratio. I have no issue with people winning tons of fabulous prizes.....as long as they kick back to the pool.

Just throwing this out there to the masses.

Wouldn't a level filter almost accomplish the same thing? Level 1+ filters out the people who don't contribute. Also, wouldn't people like me break it (0 won, 0 given away)?

The difference in using this versus a person's level is the luck factor.

I'd love a way to determine if someone has given away 1 game to get to the relatively simple to obtain level 1, and has won 50 games, or if they've only won 2 or 3. Given 1 and won 50 would be a .02 ratio versus given 1 and won 3, a .33 ratio.

I'm not saying it would be a mandatory exclusion on a giveaway, as none of the existing filters are, but what's wrong with wanting an additional filter? I would use it now and again to create giveaways for those less lucky who've maybe created a handful and won very little.

Thanks for your suggestion, David. I think it's a good one, but I wonder what would happen if someone enters such giveaway and by the time the giveaway ends his ratio would change in such way that he wouldn't match the criteria. Would the system automatically remove his entry? I don't think so. And what if such person wins the giveaway? I mean if his ratio changes by the end of your giveaway so that he doesn't match the requirements anymore, you would probably want to re-roll anyway and keep re-rolling actually as this is something that could possibly happen repeatedly.

This already happens with the level system; because games are retroactively bundled then the user's CV may go down. You're correct that the entries aren't removed and you are allowed to reroll, but I doubt that this is requested frequently. I think that the rate of winning game is quite slow for the average user (maybe around 1x/week?) so ratio depreciation shouldn't happen that often.

The ratio at the time of entering should be locked in, I think. This really isn't that big of an issue TBH.
