No, no it is not. I mostly just wanted a title that most people wouldn't open.
But here's a little train from me to you guys. I didn't realize that my ratio was as low as it is.
Feel free to bump this thread or not, I don't mind and I won't blacklist for it (because I don't usually comment and because I like smaller giveaways). I'll bump it once or twice before it's over.
Everything will be sent from Steam via eMail so make sure that is up to date.
Thanks, guys.

It's all relative I guess. Having been in the military and participated in armed combat, I'm more immune to academic stress. I went to college after I retired and am now working on my PHD. Everyone responds to stress differently and often it results from individual life experiences. I used to manage my anxiety from a scale of 1-10. 10 being "nuclear holocaust" and more often than not, my stresses would fall in the 4 or 5 range. It actually made them feel arbitrary, because I used a specific scale. Thanks for the giveaway!

I am in a very similar situation. I am using my post 9/11 GI Bill to go to school at the moment. I never saw any combat but I still had stresses from my job then and I can manage it all pretty well now.
I mostly just used the title because I figured most people wouldn't look at the post and it would keep the entries low for everyone else.

Haven't heard of arxiv.org so no.

Your topic sounds like physics, so I thought there may be something on (as far as I know) biggest preprint server for physics stuff. e.g. a paper I contributed to. There are enough authors, so my privacy should be save. I have no idea if a person without a physics background is able to understand the paper.
I added you on Steam, to ask you questions. If you and I find the time, which is quite spare atm :(

i'll have time, always love to chat about my work, but not while i'm at work. so it will have to wait for later today, or even the weekend. sorry in advance

I can't. I would be slaughtered if I quit right now. Lol. Parents. It just plain boring. If I had to sit through the lectures and do some exams I would be okay. But to make article reviews, term papers and project paper? Nope.

There's so many bullies in my schools
So yeah... I'm not the main target, but sometimes
And it's rather uncomfortable saw someone get bullied

Well bump!

SEA countries
Well maybe in asia countries, there are bullies everywhere (especially Japan)
At least 2 per classes
The bullies usually are very rich kids & have many friends

Yeah they always win even the teacher can't do anything much to them :(

Well tbh I want to punch them too, but you can't
The moment you punch them you lose

Yeah I'm ignoring them
Already past them, in college it's become better
Bully still exist but not that bully
Maybe because college students are more adult?

Thank you for the advice though xD

It's in the general region, so any chance it was in Japan or Korea? I taught there for five years and saw bullying.

You're a teacher?
Well even being a teacher, it's still difficult for the teachers to stop bullying
When you tried to, sometimes the bully's parents just.... Rrrrrr
I'm not a teacher but I saw something like that
It's just I wanna bite the bully's parents.. Because mostly bullies are there mainly because of the parents' fault

It's a pity that Japanese schools don't do enough to prevent the bullying (and sometimes students... give up on life). Things are pretty good in university, though. I studied at a Japanese university for a year, and the people I met were all really nice. I think if people don't want to deal with you, they just ignore you. :P

But, then again, I'm not Japanese so... sometimes they don't know how to deal with me, ahaha.

Yeah I wish I can befriend with those poor souls, I really do! I'll cheer them up too!
The problem is the bullies are always looking for someone
Even if you ignore them

Well, bullies are everywhere
But yeah maybe the heaviest is in Japan, because the teens mostly don't know to handle it? Suddenly just suicide
Poor souls :(

Yeah.. especially with how important it is to belong with your peers in Japan, right? The world would be a much nicer place if there were more nice people, like you! :D

That's actually exactly what a cousin of mine did for a few years. Taught English in Japan. Being of Japanese heritage, he had a little background, but really he was about as American as any of us in the 'States.

I, personally, hated the 'advanced maths' stuff. Unnecessarily complicated to seem harder than it really is. In general I didn't study but that 'advanced maths' stuff is pretentious bullshit. All of the other subjects were easy, I just never studied.

My main problem with school was that the routine would numb my brain so completely that it would forget what the routine was even supposed to be, or that it had forgotten that there was a routine. There are months where I'm honestly not sure what happened in my life, and yet I've never done (hard) drugs. I think I have legitimate sleep issues too, although I've never gotten that checked out, but it probably doesn't help.

Outside of that, school really wasn't that hard! :D
