It's a narrative-driven walking simulator lacking any character dialogue- or as it's been put by others, "an interactive silent film".

There are a few technical issues that've been noted, some people didn't like the non-interactive nature of the game, and some found the narrative too confusing without clear dialogue available to help explain things. Past that, reviews have mostly been very positive, with critical reviews perhaps averaging out somewhere around 85/100 (with the overall range typically falling between 7.5 and 10).

Amazon is known for its infrequent, intense price drops on digital products, and 90% isn't especially unusual to encounter, these days (compare that to the 20¢ or so a game can go for in a $1 bundle tier). From what I've picked up, if the game's mechanics and X-Files-style narrative sounds like it'll be great to you, you'll probably like it; if you have reservations, you probably won't.

Also, if you're a Humble Monthly subscriber, this is the kind of game that will probably pop up in it eventually.

That's exactly my thoughts. I've understood some key events by deduction from what happened next, I feel uncomfortable with that as the story is the main focus of the game. Still, I played it to the end (it's quite short) and I wouldn't say it's a bad game: devs have obviously put much love and effort in making it. I'm a bit disappointed, but I don't regret my 1$ purchase :)

Just a heads-up:

GMG are having a Black Friday sale with Virginia discounted at 90% to £0.70 / $1.00, drops down to £0.60 / $0.85 if you use 'GMGBLACKFRIDAY' at checkout for 15% off the sale price.

Interesting, I hadn't noticed the changes to GMG accounts with the new tracking info and other stuff.

Also, the discount code is for 15% off. Makes it $0.85 USD.

They probably screwed up the latest update. No game has any reviews (checked like 4-5 popular games)
