they delayed the 3rd season thrice
1st time they said they delayed it because people were unable to finish the battle pass cause they made it INSANE grind.
i was ok with this because i have 500 hours in game and wasnt able to finish the grind.....
2nd time they said they delayed it until the 30th of this month
pissed cause i spent soo many hours to unlock everything in the free battle pass.....
3rd time its going to be shut down in 90 days until some time in 2024

I still find it funny being "in beta" with seasons, with full monetization, with passes, with nominations and awards. I don't remember a single "beta" having all of that. If something AT BEST "early access" games, and even then those remain online UNTIL they finally release out of early access.

The player base probably should have seen the red flags with having seasons and battle passes in an open beta.

people are trying to get refunds from what i read
the game is letting you keep the stuff but only as offline until its back up, so i dont think anybody is getting a refund.

Its due WB money and everyone tried it out what made it so popular, but people didn't like it enough to stay or remain relevant.
The dumbest part is, they keep saying its on "beta", not beta enough to be considered a fighitng game for the game awards, not beta either to have full monetization, but just beta ENOUGH to now have the audacity to go offline; yikes.
Seriously, DNF Duel, Nickelodeon All Stars Brawl and Multiversus flooped. Multiversus might be going for a "re-release" as "out of beta" to try to be as hype as it was for its release and get people to be interested and invest into the game again; but idk if the move will work.

Don't forget the bad music. It was nice they finally added voice acting but indeed, a bit too late.
Same is happening to DNF Duel, fighting games really struggle nowdays unless its an strong stablished IP such as Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Dragon Ball or now Guilty Gear being mainstream.
