Don't Starve - Yay Or Nay (Again)

I was thinking this yesterday too, I ended up getting Don't Starve but not the dlc because Don't Starve has way more than enough content for less than 4 bucks, but the dlc is too expensive right now, should hold off on it until you know that you really want the dlc or if it goes on a good sale.

i don't like it, but that's just me. so nay from me ;)

Yes to both the base game and DLC, provided you're a patient gamer who's happy to spend time with a game where you've got to largely work things out for yourself before dying and starting over again, only to progress a little further the next time.

I love Don't Starve - it's utterly charming and well worth the current price, provided it's vaguely your kind of thing (if you know what I mean).

If absolutely no description of all items, tools, creatures, stuff in game and endless dying is fine to you than take that.

The best indie game I have ever played. The problem is that when you unlocked all the characters the game starts getting ripetitive and a little more boring. But for 4,5$, it's a must buy. Can't talk for the dlc, I don't own it, but I think it could add some longevity to the game

You should definitely get it and the Reign of Giants DLC alone with the main game, you won't be disappointed!

I don't know what you enjoy in games, but I love Don't Starve. There's a lot of experimentation figuring out the world and it's not very expensive right now. One of my favorite games of last year.

I say buy it but don't buy Reign of Giants yet. The game is hard enough without the expansion. Play it, get used to it, and if you love it, then buy the DLC later.

Big yay form me for the game...it's just cute and weird and i just love it.

If you want the game, get it now, because it will be more expensive soon (+4-5 euro i think), when they add multiplayer, which will be a free update for those who already own Don't Starve. And i recommend the game too, it is awesome, and now it will have multiplayer, it will be more awesome!

I really like the game and the DLC. I play it more than most of my other games put together. Just bought it for each of my kids too.

I like Don't Starve it's a cool little survival rogue like. It's like minecraft without the blocky graphics, building and with a more in-depth survival experience. I'd buy the DLC too, it's a nice addition to the game (more creatures etc)
