Ok, so last time I created a giveaway I thought it would be a great idea to put a referral link up... I got banned. :(

My question is, I know I can't advertise referral links, but can I link a product I am selling?

"Do not link to any referral programs." But there is nothing written about advertisement. So is suppose it may be ok. (Wait for more replies, or try contacting a SG moderator for double-check.)

Those game devs would have two things that would make it okay.

  • They would have had the sense to ask first.
  • They are bringing attention to a game on Greenlight for votes, not an item on eBay.

Im not sure what you mean by a product you are selling. Others have advertised their game on greenlight or their youtube channel, im not sure what you plan to advertise, but whatever it is get confirmation directly from support before doing so its the only way to be truly sure you are allowed to do it
