Private fast ones (<10 min.)

I prefer 4 week long public ones for good DLC. Like say Children of the Nile : Alexandria.

public giveaways are nice as well, I should start doing them again.

Puzzle giveaways tend to rule out at least 80% of the userbase of Steamgifts who can't be bothered, don't require me to join a group and as an added bonus are usually quite entertaining to solve, too!

Public, everyone gets a shot at it. I like the idea of puzzle giveaways, although I never finish the full code because I always get stuck :X

Private and Group. Because I know these are trusted people and no one gets scammed.

As much as I enjoy attempting some of the puzzles they tend to be a bit too tough and time consuming for me on here, won a few on steam forums though, won them and gave to a friend because I had them already.

I think it's neat when there's a puzzle themed to the game being given away, so if you figure it out, it's a clue to what you can enter to win.

I like puzzles! Although i can never solve them...

Forum private and puzzle. Rewarding the community for being active, or at least a lurker in the community is great IMO. If it isn't a puzzle giveaway though, don't say 'giveaway' etc. in the title, so people just scaning the main pages will miss it :-p mwahahahaha!

Public, I like how slim a chance it can be to win one.
