No, it is a bad idea to buy it when it's not 85% off or in a bundle like Indie Royale for a ridiculously low price. Also, it's subjectively the worst expensive game I've ever paid for.

well, they're called shoot'em ups for a reason, if you don't want that, don't buy a game that falls into that genre :p

and there is a story believe it or not and it's quite fun to co-op
