New games for Steam Trading Cards!

exactly like leo9903 - this game is awesome even without the cards (though I voted for it and kickstarted it - second good one is Pit sword of stars - pretty awesome and demanding too - that was indiegogo'ed by me :) ) try it instead of minimalizing it on play and you find your lost hope in game industry :D

I'll grant that it has strong similarities to Aaaa!!! and especially in the earlier build I played it was hard for me to recognize the difference between the two games. I hope they spin this game further in its own direction as development continues.

Still, I liked Aaaa!!! a lot, so I guess I'm more interested in a similar game than you would be.

The way I understand it, it's the developers who makes the cards/bagdes/emoticons/backgrounds then get Valve to approve and add them. Of course the indie developers will be the first ones to jump on the bandwagon if there's a chance it will boost the sales of their games.

You don't need cards as a reason to buy FTL. It's awesome. I got it about a week ago, played it and it went straight into my favourite-games-of-all-time list, along with Just Cause 2, Civ V and Age of Empires.

Except those announcements only pop up for a few seconds, and some people probably check the forums more often than they check the group. Plus, sometimes there is added discussion and comments that go with the new announcements that are interesting.

Prices fluctuate a lot the first couple days. Just need to be patient and catch an upswing. Never price your cards at the going minimum.

Edit: Already made $5 just off 4 Tower Wars cards.

Nice amount you have.
While thinking a bit, I understood that the market is much more beneficial to $ marketers than to € ones.

What is sold on the market is at a price following proper conversion depending on the currency (2$ keys at around 1.60 I think) but what is sold on store follows the Steam conversion (1$ = 1 €).
This makes selling items in $ much more attractive, which is a bit too bad.

I won't complain though, since hte market allows for making Steam money from free stuff :p.
