Her proposal is actually a reaction to the "Abolition Of Abortion In Texas Act" which attempts to make it a criminal offence to have an abortion in the state at any point, regardless of whether a woman has conceived following rape or incest.
Her "message" is (how i see it): if women can't do what they want with their body, then men should see how ridiculous would be if same laws would be created for them.

1) This law will never be, and never was intended, to pass. It's essentially satire.
2) With a Republican controlled Senate any normal pro-choice bills have just as much hopes of passing as this one. Instead she made a bill that's actually drawn attention to the current set of barbaric laws in place. Which is a lot more than any sort of traditional pro-choice bill would have managed.

I did read the whole thing and can see one major flaw in this line of thought, she's comparing wasting sperm to abortion, two completely different things.
Masturbation kills sperm, and sperm can't generate a living human by itself. Is like saying that a pack of flour is going to certainly become a cake,there's no way of knowing for sure.
On the other side abortion consists on ending (and killing in the process) the gestation of a fetus. To follow the analogy that would be like taking the cake from the oven before it's ready and tossing it on the trashcan.

I sort of agree, too. I support abortion rights 100% and think any and all attempts to restrict abortion are misguided at best and downright evil at worst, but this bill isn't going to change that and if you look at this thread you'll see it'll just make people hate her side even more.
I'll bet you not one person here who was against abortion saw the article and was like "ohh, that's what it's like. She's right, this is ridiculous, abortions for all!". This is good for an echo chamber. Someone who already agrees might enjoy reading it and making fun of his opponents that way. But that's completely useless! No one is going to be convinced by this.
