http://www.steamgifts.com/tools/emoticon-generator I used this thing before to try to create something, but to do something like yours is only possible by hand.

what the maximum amount of emoticons you can put in one line <-horizontally-> on Steam profile showcase? 34? and vertically without needing to scroll? 18?

Edit: Seems I could do more than 34 in one line, but not sure what is the limit.

Actually your limitation is the amount of characters.

I've tried to display all my emoticons on my profile, but the text gets cut off at 8000 characters :(

My current limit is 33*25.5 emoticons, which will let me show a little over 800 emoticons in the info box, out of the 1198 unique ones that I have in my inventory.
