Just remembered max GAs I can make today is 300, so the event won't go live till tomorrow ...

UPDATE 5/5/2016

I have finished designing everything and now all I have left to do is create my GAs and link them into the event at the right places. I will be making all my GAs on Friday 5/6/2016 (tomorrow) and will be contacting all that are interested in donating GAs.

If you like go ahead and create your PRIVATE GAs (Level 1) Friday 5/6/2016 and make them last 30 days out-- as late as able to be created... and email the links of your GAs to my email address at:

jeffasl@yahoo.com

If you are donating a TRAIN then send me the first link of the first GA of the train and let me know it is a train and I will add your train to the event in the right place!

I need 6 trains and plenty of single GAs.

Excited to go LIVE Friday or Saturday!

Just wanted to give a status report on how the puzzle event designing is going along.

GOALS:

May 6th or 7th going LIVE... (to last 1 month long)
100 finishers (to beat 60 of January's Space Kitty's Pyramid event!)
Over 1000 comments in main thread!
500+ GAs!

It will be:

THEME: The Food Pyramid

30 ITH puzzles, each with 10 questions
30 crossword puzzles
30 logic puzzles
30 passcode puzzles (for achievement access)
1 Pinnacle puzzle

For a total of 121 puzzles!!

You can help out with GAs for the event!! Let me know if you are interested. So far we have 4 people that have expressed interest in GA contributions!

I would love to participate by create some puzzle, but as it would be my first puzzle I'm afraid that I would fail...

But while you ask also for GA contributors - I'm in. :) Maybe that wouldn't be very much, but I have currently 4 gifts I can give away... Maybe I could buy some bundle also.

bump for realizing that free time will never be enough for all the puzzles in this site. Lately I don't even touch many of them. It's simply too much. :O Anyway, hope this goes well, like all of Jeff's organized puzzles so far. xD

My puzzles will take FARRRRRRRRRR less time than the Science event.

They are meant to be straightforward, fun, easy, and hopefully as enjoyable as possible. But a huge event tho that will give a sense of accomplishment. Hope to have you as a complete finisher! It will last as long as possible-- to give enough time to finish.

Actually you will need to take some time to solve everything... but I think that the time being frustrated because of format in ITH or searching an exact word from an exact page somewhere will be gone...

Your time will be spent on actually puzzle solving... but it WILL take some time tho... thats why you will need a month for it. The reward I think will be worth it....

500+ GAs... Is this from you alone or including contributions? Pretty crazy either way.. I've prepared a few unbundled for the top already, can throw in some bundled keys if you need. Talk to me when you're ready (:

Goal is 500+ ... and that is including contributions.

We have to wait as late as possible to create the GAs so they can last as long as possible... 30 days.

So May 7th is when I plan on making my GAs.

Finishing up the passcode puzzles now!! So about to be done with all the design and then will just need to create the links between everything. It's a bigggie!! But it has been so fun putting it together.

The goal is to make the GAs on the 7th and make it live the 7th or 8th.

You make GA by yourself and send link to @jeffhowe by email. I've sent GAs without any description... Just remember about correct settings mentioned above.
