I happen to have a very old game called Grand prix Legends. it's orignaly for windows 98 or windows XP im not sure... but since my PC is using Windows 7 could it be why it wont install? or even launch the installer?. or does it have to do with my components inside of my PC?

You need to improve your necro lore. On the other hand he's a master at it.

No mate, sadly not.

I had the same situation with "Liberation Day", an amazing turn-based strategy game (one of the first of its kind). The latest Win version it could be played was Win XP. Those old games where built on the Windows NT and Win XP was the last available windows version which was partially using that technology.

You can easily run the games if you find and install the Windows 2000 Server edition in a part of your hard disk or if you find a fan-made patch which will allow you to run it on win7 or 8.
