Looks very nice, but gotta be careful. They will release shit in 3 acts, first act being around 30 hours, 2 and 3 around 40 hours (together).
Paying at least 30 € for alpha access for the first act only may be reasonable price wise, but it's still a lot of cash to ask for just a part of the game.
Regardless, the trailer looks like it had a lot of animation work done to look good, as in the game doesn't have many of the animations and battle sceens shown look scripted.
I'll give it some more thought.

£301,638 We have reached the goal !!
I am seriously looking forward to this game, i suspect it will take inspiration from Skyrim, and make a hell of a good game. This game is going to be purely epic, cant wait for it.

Ok the combat was the only thing I was skeptical about with this game and the new combat video update looks pretty sweet. I think I would have preferred a combat similar to Chivalry, but this looks interesting. More of a focus on 1 on 1 visceral duels. I just hope there won't be any times during the game when I'm going to be outnumbered and frustratingly overwhelmed.

Yeah, I just hope that doesn't happen too often. I'm not a fan of overly complicated combat systems. I ended up just using a trainer and godmode-ing through the last half of The Witcher recently because I was pulling my hair out in frustration because I sucked so bad at the combat whenever I had to fight more than 4-5 enemies.

I think that hey had to stay realistic on those stretch goals. After all the game is primarily paid by private investor so it is not like they can actually stretch the game with each $100000 (making bigger map and stuff like that). IMO this is better than promising huge things which cannot actually be paid for from community and would only prolong the development.

Yeah, it would be nice to have all the shiny things people can dream of, but extending the development cycle can kill a game if it goes on too long.

Very interesting. Medieval is one of my least favorite settings, and I don't dig FPS, but this deserves to get backed (I may do it also) in full based on their experience, commitment, and as a nice middle finger to doubting publishers that have no idea what the public really wants.
Hope it makes it to 1M.

Yeah me too, but I'm not very excited about that dog companion... At least I hope that dog could be let somewhere and not to follow the player all the time - I still have nightmares when I remember horses from Skyrim especially the immortal one I got after finishing the Dark brotherhood line. He was still following me, the stealth was impossible with him and I couldn't kill him, I've searched forums how to get rid of him... In the end I had to erase him using the game console.

I dunno about you, but I'm going to be busy until then, anyway. We've got a bunch of famous Kickstarter projects coming out, this year, many of them games. In fact, I'm looking forward to a fistful of them being released by this summer. I sure hope I have time to play them before the next batch comes out. P
