Ad 2. That's true and I'm pestering them about it all the time. But there are still:

• some games that didn't do the unjustified price hike, and I'm buying them on sales,
• other stores with more fair pricing and I'm buying steam games there.

Steam is a great ecosystem and I'm not going to stop using it because of one stupid decision, but I'm stubborn and will not rest my case until it's fixed.

BTW one of the recent researches (can't be bothered to find the link now) found that people criticising a company usually spend more at that company than those praising it. This is logical when you reverse it, because those who spend more money likely have more expectations and care more for the company's self-improvement than those who for example buy one product and are content with it. Not to mention the fact that I have a self-bestowed right to bitch about valve after spending thousands of dollars on their platform, lol.
