TF2 Earbuds are 3,5 tf2 keys now... Why?

I remember they were 20-23, and price kept falling, then I lost track of it, and now 3.5 keys, that's really low.

Apple just wasn't the same since they bought out Beats.

CSgo and dota2 more popular now, probably that's why. Almost every item dropped their value.

I remembering trading a pair for Arma 2 Combined Ops so I could play DayZ.

This guide says one-of-if-not-THE main reason was that Earbuds stopped being used as currency, totally replaced by keys.

The moment people started banking out of TF2 for CSGO and Dota2, the offer for buds skyrocketed, thus lowering their value.

SIgh, I told my brother every year he should sell me his extra set for 10-30$ so I could sell for an extra $5 and profit us both some beer money. He never listened, bwaha, and too late now!

i think its because way back then, those jigglebone buds were something special, and a real status symbol.... these days, the game is FULL of wacky misc items, that just having some shitty headphones isn't all that special any more...

maybe because people hot tired of tf2 after all those anti-idle stuff valve pulled.
mass-idling was killing the economy, but valve didn't help at all with their decisions... not that they really care, dota+csgo "spawn" more than enough money for them.

I think, maybe, because they are marketable now, so many people want get wallet for it and listed more cheaper and cheaper price for it

People have gradually started losing interest in TF2. It's only natural that the items reduce in price.
