Here's the event*:

Write down one good thing about a person in your life (humanoid, who's alive and a-kicking) and I send you a message with a ticket to board the mini-train **.

Any person, I don't care who it is. I ain't taking names.
You write one positive thing about them- no caveats, no cynicism, no backsies... commit to the positivity- and you get your ticket (sooner or later).

I'll kickstart with this:

I have a friend who can't stand the notion of putting things off and must- simply must- do whatever it is needs doing now. Right now. Why are we still talking about this? Right this very moment as if there's no other and will never be.
No! to thinking things over. No! to maybes. No! to it's getting dark and mom said to be home by then.

Jokingly bring up an idea that might sound fun around her and it's like a flame to fuel. Some rocket has been launched and before you know what's going on you're dragged in her wake, mumbling cautionary tales and your thoughts on the law and your mama.
Like many I procrastinate so to me she's amazing and I wish her to never be slowed down by my ilk.

Games on the train: Rise & Shine, The Little, Acre, Oxenfree, Scribblenauts Unlimited, Fluffy Horde
Also I've wiped the slate clean (BL begone) so all are welcome to participate.
Also 2, you can take a peek here to see if there's something extra for you.

If you're only interested in +1 for your games library without actually playing the game- that's just fine by me.
If you want to only comment but not to subsequently be spammed by me because you're uninterested in the train- that's just as fine, so just say so.

*Winners who weren't sent a ticket will be well-wished, then swiftly rerolled.
**If you've never made any public GA I can't send you a ticket for technical reasons, but if you make one during the period of this train and let me know then I'd be happy to correct this.

My sister for always taking care of me no matter what. Even now with a kid, she still thinks of me and never let me feel left out. She really is a great person and I don't deserve a sister like that.

I'm thankful for my friend that is an amazing artist that helped me a lot in my theater plays, and never fails to make me laugh in the hardest times.

I am thankful for a coworker who taught me a lot of the stuff that I needed to know for my job. He went above and beyond when training me.

I'm thankful to my sister for giving birth to the most amazing person I know. The little one is currently six years old, she's insanely intelligent, she's gentle and kindhearted, and she loves me unconditionally the way only a small child can love their close relatives.

No need for a link, just wanted to join spreading love :)

Awww reminds me of my niece. Little ones are the best people on this earth. Their love is so pure, it can brighten any cloudy day.

My mum is my angel, she raised me and tought me so much in life. <3 It pains me very much that I can't meet her and feel her warm embrace due to the Covid restrictions here. We speak on the phone every now and then but it's not the same. She is getting old now so time is not in our favor, hope I get to hug her again before it's too late. 😢

You'll hug your Mom again soon. That damn disease will not keep us down much longer.
Mom's hugs are the best. My grandma gave the best hugs. And they always smelled of flowers from her gardens. I miss them.

Shout out for my sister, who is always there for me. She helped me move and set up my apartment. We've kept each other sane through the pandemic's forced isolation. And she helped me find the most wonderful dog ever, who is cuddled up and giving me kisses right now despite the fact that I haven't thrown her ball in at least five minutes.

A friend of mine who was always there for me no matter what was happening in my life and no matter if I was poor and jobless or if I had a job. Always supporting me and spending his time with me to make me feel better.

Not anyone in particular, but I'm really thankful to all the healthcare people around the world. I'm sure I wouldn't be here if not for them.

They honestly deserve an international healthcare personnel day after 2020.
We should all send them gifts and donations every year like a birthday.

Even if not that, atleast have their pay reflect their contribution to the society. My cousin who works as a nutritionist recently tested positive due to the exposure. And yet all she wants is to recover faster so that she can get back at her work. I don't know if I would have the courage to do that. Mad respect to these soldiers.

Right? My girlfriend is from Portugal and over there, doctors and nurses came out of retirement to come and help at hospitals as soon as the first cases hit. Without being asked. Just spontaneously showed up. For their colleagues, and for their fellow citizens. That's dedication like very few show nowadays.

There's someone I'm very close to whom I'm thankful of. He keeps me standing strong most every day that comes by. He took me on at a terrible time in my life and stood by my side even while I had very little of myself left to offer for many months on end and forgives me for not being able to remember that time clearly anymore as well. He's always worked hard to comfort and console me, even when I am doing well, he will still put in a little extra effort to alleviate my anxieties in the future so that whenever those moments hit, there isn't a shadow of a doubt in my mind to scare me away. No matter where time would take us and if I were to lose him at any point as what he is to me now, he's given me a understanding of warmth and comfort to forever chase after in life now that I know these feelings truly are possible.
