As far as Lugums post goes - hoonigan however cool it is, is more closer to drift then rally. Apart from that - while tarmac definitely is not the most popular surface for rally, some really great rallies and stages are made on that. Many rallies have city stages, Monte Carlo is on asphalt (which is one of the most legendary rallies in the world)
Anyhow - rest in peace Ken Block. He left a mark on the rally scene and made it popular with Hoonigan. He was not the best rally driver, but he sure knew how to drift.
