Best Game That You've Gotten For Free From A Friend?

I just got Bioshock from one of my awesome friends! It makes me wonder, what is the best game you've gotten from a friend?

EDIT: Sweet! I got Spec Ops: The Line and Bioshock 2 from a friend! Still, the best one for me was Civilization V. Too good. Why else do you think my Steam username is "Emperor Gandhi?"

Personally love They Bleed Pixels, but DayZ probably the most surprising of the bunch.

From unmet steam friends... Lots.. lol. I bought Fallout 3 GOTY for someone one time. Was on an amazing sale & they had it on their wishlist. :)

A lot of happy people from this last HB with the bioshock and xcom games. Great bundle.

My friend, about a week or two after launch, got me Borderlands 2 when it was 60 dollars. He said after nearly 250 hours, he still doesn't regret it.

It's actually a tie between Amnesia: The Dark Descent, Borderlands GOTY, Torchlight II and Age of Empires II HD. Amnesia and Borderlands were given to me when I first joined Steam and didn't have any games.

I got Guns of Icarus Online for helping a friend with a computer problem.
(Edit) Actually no the best I've gotten was the Half-Life complete series which my friend gave me because he sort of maybe made my girlfriend break up with me right before Christmas. I'd say that made up for it because... Well it's Half-Life.
