Hello,

I'm trying to deal with a gamer from Thailand about a giveaway and communication is not going well between us. If you know Thai and English (to a reasonable degree of each), please add me and we can talk. Your help will be most appreciated.

I'm afraid of google translate.. I know 3 languages reasonably well and having translated between them in google translate (when a non-English keyboard isn't handy) I know how atrocious it can be to communicate a clear message in the tone I want to send it.

its at least enough to get the idea across surely? even if the syntax gets fucked and some synonyms aren't right it should be easy enough to get in general what is being said

ran that through with english>thai>russian>chinese(traditional)>finnish>italian>thai>french>greek>gaelic>english trying to cause problems and I got

it screwed up "fucked", but I was checking it in another tab at each step and up until gaelic it was actually fine with that word.
also I used "get" as a colloquialism to mean understand which should probably be avoided since it borked the synonym thing(chinese did it) but if you're even reasonably careful with speaking clearly...

...seriously though, I'd be really careful - "poor English" may lead to serious miscommunication, or even be a scammer ruse.

I had to look up "Pattaya".. and no I'm not bargaining with prostitutes, I'm bargaining for games.. way more important and far less likely to leave a "rash" that won't go away.

Yeah, I tried to communicate but it took forever and I'm not sure anything was getting through.
