I just built a train with some bundle leftovers for people who are level 2+. Some of these are new(ish) but most are older. A giveaway per day for 3 weeks.

In order to board the train, you must guess / discover the 5 periodic table elements and fill out this quiz. If you've recently passed a semi-basic chemistry course or with the help of some quick googling, you should be able to complete this in no time.

Enjoy!

EDIT: as recommended by several people, I have modified question #2 to better reflect the element's oxidization process.

Oh dear it has been a long time since my high school chemistry ⚗️🥴. Remembered the names but not their designations but I got there in the end. Quite generous of you to put on a train like this, thanks for the puzzle & GA's and here comes a little bump.

As it has already been pointed out there is a wrong description of metal in question 2, metal itself being clearly silvery and becoming pink only in its 1st stage of oxidization (and also being used in glass production to get pink glass, if you want to have something pink about it). But there is also an error in the 1st question. Correct me, if I'm wrong, but AFAIK the element in question is NOT used in food seasoning - its compounds are used instead, which is quite a difference (try to drink H2 instead of H2O). Is it not possible to correct those questions once the quiz has been launched? If so, it still could (and IMO should) be redone and the new version linked in. Cheers :)

Hey there, thanks for the feedback. I have edited question #2 to better reflect the element's oxidization behaviour.

As to the first question, I will leave it as it is. In my opinion most people do not express differently the use of an element in its purest form vs the use of an element's compound. Iron supplements, for example, are called iron tablets, but they do not contain pure iron, rather something like FeSO4 or C4H2FeO4.
