Sorry, to clarify-- it used to be that every now and then, after a game was bought out, it would be replaced with, say, 25 free copies of a game that anybody could claim. These went quickly, of course. In the current promotion, you have to buy 10 games to unlock a freebie.

I'm also in East USA. I was pretty surprised when I nabbed it because, like you say, they would disappear quickly if not instantaneously. This time around, sometimes the graphic doesn't load so I have no idea what the game is...by the time the graphic shows up, they're almost gone.
