Okay so, did the giveaway creator write in big letters that you had to say thanks if you won in order to not get blacklisted? Because otherwise this sounds pretty damn lame (of the creator to do).

Someone blacklist for saying thanks, someone blacklist for not saying thanks. When I win I always say thanks, but not always when I enter, or at least not in each of the giveaways made by one person, to not spam.

You always can say different things than thanks.
I bet he blacklisted not because of thanks post missing but because you left no comment at all.
Especially in small giveaways i also dont like it if people dont comment, though I didnt blacklist anyone for that.
