Subbed anime make it hard for me to follow the story a bit, but I guess I'll get used to it.
Also, I thought that Steins;Gate's dub were amazingly good.

Well, I started with subbed in the first place, so I don't know really, never had any major problems. The only exceptions are some 'deeper' series or shows that rely on wordplay and such.
I don't really have much experience with dubs, but I generally dislike English voices with anime characters. :/

It is roughly 70% mystery and 30% romance and it has a lot of plot twists. If you're into mystery and into classical music (The soundtrack is awesome) then you should watch it :D
