Only read the "temperatures below absolute zero" article. Ended up having an "ah-okay" feeling. Yes, the particular definition does make the temperature negative, but the system is warmer, so it's only cool (figuratively; pun not intended) in a theoretical physics kind of way.

Yup. I feel that that is why so many people are disagreeing with the article. If you don't realize that the system is actually warmer, it becomes much harder to accept.
