Hey guys,

Recently I was looking for a new mouse to play FPS games with, and found Razer Deathadder Chroma Overwatch edition. However my friend recently recommended me an a4tech a7 which has quite impressive stats, however it looks fishy AF. First of all this whole core upgrade thing, which gives you access to better features in the driver program. Then the 1,x and 3 shot switch and sniper mode with aim adjustment, which look like cheats to me. Finally there wasn't a single english review about the mouse, only russian.

So what do you think? Is it an amazing mouse or a big scam?

No idea about that a4tech, but you can't really go wrong with Razer. I've never hear anyone with a Razer Deathadder complain about it.

My Deathadder 2013 is pretty much a paperweight these days... I'm gaming with a Logitech G100s, a stupidly cheap optical mouse... that doesn't cause me tendinitis.

I literally had one's sensor become unusable.

Mine needed a couple of firmware updates before it was of any use.

Been using my Naga Molten for about 5 years now. Made a fix on my left click a couple of months ago but so far so good :P Had a Cyborg R.A.T 7 before this one but the Razer is definitely one of my best purchases so far!

I own a V7M and it's fantastic, nicely designed, good build quality, glides perfectly even in soft surfaces. The triple shot feature is meh and you'll probably never use it and just forget about the upgrade thing, that's not what the mouse should be about.

I'm using the Gun3 V5 w/c is basically the plain looking one of the A7. The extra core features is nice to have and takes a lot of tinkering to be able to make full use of the core3/4/5. The longer you use the mouse the less you actually use the latter features. I've been using my mice for 1yr and a few months and the only feature I ever use is mapping the side buttons with different keyboard button replacement, manual switching of mouse profile, and switching back and forth between 1600DPI to 3200DPI whenever I play FPSs because higher DPI w/ lower ingame sensitivity = less pixels skipped by the mice due to ingame sensitivity and thus giving you better accuracy on your aims.

Just bought the second A4Tech X7-718BK. The first one that i had lasted for over 4 years of intense daily use. The Bloody series are only nice for the core's software and features. But when it comes to price and quality, the X7 series were and are the best. And regarding that, the X7-718BK is one of the best sold mice...even in 2016.

I have an A4tech -- can't remember the exact model -- that is an OCZ Equalizer (the best mouse I've ever owned) clone, and it's alright, but the dpi switch almost always fails... not a problem when playing something that doesn't require lots of precision, but can be a pain in some fps titles.

Don't think too much if it's between A4Tech and Razer get Deathadder.
I have zowie ec2-a, I was saving money for new graphic card but found good deal for zowie :)

Btw I do own one A4Thech mouse (some x7, I think it's like Atarlock's).
It was ok mouse for that money, I guess. Few of my friends had one and scroll is terrible, died after 1 year and bad sensor at low DPI. I mean, you can't expect too much from A4 Tech 5$ Mouse.
Don't know how durable and good A7 is.

Ive been using an A4 Tech 5$ Mouse for couple years now ...

Duno those ridiculously expensive things ppl seem to be suggesting you to buy , but A4 Seems to be making pretty nice gear for low end users .

So i would assume something that expensive should be godlike :)

Then again i dont get why are ppl spending such ammounts of money on periferals when a 5$ mouse does the trick for gaming ..

A4Tech make good affordable mice, I'd recommend A4Tech X7-718BK, X7 series is good and cheap. Razer is overpriced "gaming" nonsense.

I think the A4tech makes best products in comparise price/durability/quality.
I had a few from this company and they last many years (I still have X7 which has about 7 years now and I can't say a bad thing about it and works as new).
Every mouse i had from different producer didn't last more than 2 years.

I got 2 mouses from A4Tech - A4Tech X7 V-Track F5 and Bloody V8M. Both are really awesome! Recommended if you looking for big, stable and responsive mouse. And also - price is good! :)
